Amy Gant’s playing experience at the international as well as the collegiate level gives her a unique and valuable insight into the game of volleyball. She began her career as a broadcaster in 1999 after she left the US National Team. Since that time she has worked for NBC Sports, calling the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, The Pac-12 Networks, CBS College Sports, the Mountain Network, ESPN, Fox Sports, and BYUTV. As a player for BYU, she was a three-time All-American and two-time Conference Player of the Year, making NCAA history as the only player to ever achieve a top ten ranking in three statistical categories in one season. A NCAA Woman of the Year finalist, she also spent two years playing for the US National Team. Twice named to the GTE Academic All-America team, Amy graduated with her BS in Athletic Training. In 2009 she was inducted in the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame. Amy’s husband, Jesse, was a setter on the US Men’s National Team and they are the proud parents of five children.
